 The Pilgrim's Passport
When you walk the Via Francigena of St Francis you will receive no less than 2 “Pilgrim Certificates” that will show the stages you have walked.

Here's how:

To receive a Pilgrim’s Certificate for the “Sacred Valley of Rieti”, pick up the Pilgrim’s Passport  at the APT headquarters in Rieti, or at any of the Franciscan Sanctuaries of the Holy Valley of Rieti (Rieti-Piediluco section). Have your passport stamped in at least four of the Rieti valley sanctuaries  and at the end of your journey return your passport to the APT in Rieti. In exchange you will receive your Pilgrim’s Certificate.
Please note: the 4 stamps will only be valid if applied on at least two different days.

To receive the Testimonium of “the last 100 km to Rome” pick up the Pilgrim passport at the APT headquarters in Rieti or directly in one of the places of worship along the route (Rieti - Rome section). Have your passport stamped at each stage and at your arrival in Rome give it to the ORP Office in St. Peter's. You will be issued a Testimonium that “testifies” you walked the last 100 km to reach Rome.
